Marie Bourke

Of Indianapolis passed away on Feb 1, 2019 at the age of 62. Marie was born Jan 16, 1957 the eldest of 5 children to Mary & William Bourke. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary (2005) & William (2013).
Marie is survived by her sister Margie Cockshott (Andy), brother Billy Bourke (Breda ), sister Deirdre Bourke & brother Teddy Bourke. She was a loving sister & aunt to her nieces & nephews Iain, Jenny & Peter Cockshott & Ciara, Eimear, Liam & Brian Bourke.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Abbie Hunt Bryce home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 7th at 1:00 pm at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 4217 North Central Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46205.
Visitation will take place at 12:30 at St Joan of Arc prior to the service.

My sympathies for the loss of your sister, losing a sibling is a very difficult thing. We have to ask ourselves “if death is a natural part of life then why is it so difficult for us to accept?” The answer is simple, it’s was not part of Jehovah’s original plan. Very soon now he will “wipe away every tear from our eye and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” (Rev. 21:3,4) what a wonder promise for the future!
